I’m on a mission to help people and organizations reconnect with themselves and their purpose.
I immigrated from Mexico to the vibrant and largely Mexican and Puerto Rican community of Little Village in Chicago as a little girl in the 90s. The cultural richness of my immigrant community and early mentorship from teachers eased the transition. Coupled with lived experience as an immigrant, queer, and first gen Stanford student, I sparked my life-long commitment to fostering cultures of inclusion, belonging, dignity, and well-being.
Honoring this commitment and my experience, I brought my early experience as a product manager and later as a holistic coach to co-found Bask and Being, where we design wellness strategies, culture, and change management programs to help create healthier workplaces. I was inspired to come together with a college friend from Stanford after experiencing physical and mental consequences from burnout. We wanted to create a blueprint that could help individuals and the collective thrive without sacrificing their health.
I’m passionate about sharing my robust knowledge and experience to help individuals and organizations achieve heart-driven success that uplifts communities and doesn't sacrifice their well-being.
I want to help people forget about que va decir la gente and make what they do with their one precious life match their values.
I want individuals and organizations alike to rekindle the flame of their dreams and coach them to life.
Since then, I’ve also used my entrepreneurial spirit and passion for building and fostering communities.
Grew and Launched two podcasts and Community platforms
In 2019 and through 2023, I joined as the co-host of Tamarindo Podcast. We grew the podcast to reach over one million streams, joined Latino Media Network Sonoro Media, were recognized in Oprah Magazine, Latina, and CNN, and hosted workshops on a variety of topics from identity, storytelling, and capacity building.
At the end of 2024 I launched Las Paleteras, a video forward spicy, fresh, and mindful podcast for anyone looking to challenge themselves and the status quo but always with cariño.
Led Community Engagement Efforts throughout the city of Los Angeles
My entrenchment in the Los Angeles community over the last ten years led me to get hired to lead community organizing and engagement initiatives with different organizations including Designing in Color, where I focus on applying spatial justice principles to community engagement in urban projects.
Empowered Small Businesses and Entrepreneurs
I have also applied my product and program management to support small business owners, entrepreneurs, and creatives.
Working with Clients like Meta and Launch Latinx, I launched initiatives and business accelerators that supported entrepreneurs to launch or grow their small businesses.
I've dedicated my career to improving human experiences digitally and in real life, empowering individuals and small businesses, and with a deep understanding of intersectional identities and vulnerable communities - including BIPOC, immigrants, queer, and first-generation individuals.
What’s next?
Great things are coming.
If you feel like I can be a helpful part of your journey towards balance and joy, I’d be delighted to make time for a chat.
